Overall, this past weekend was really chill by design. I had a big test on Sunday that had been looming for >1 year. The last step in my Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) through the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). And good news: I passed! Thank heavens. It’s like a big gorilla has gotten pulled off my back.
But Jeff and I did notch up some fun times. We paid our second visit to Forest Park, which is a hiker’s nirvana. This 5,100 acre-park has 70 miles of trails – practically right in our backyard! We owed Cooper a good walk so the three of us tackled a five-mile hilly loop and called it good. Walkability is maybe my favorite thing about Portland. We walk almost everywhere (well, besides work). My high heels get little love anymore.
The highlight of the weekend was Italian night at the Krass house. Jeff is a pasta-making machine. Every couple months, he pulls out the KitchenAid pasta attachment and cranks out piles of pasta. Hours of work. Plus we recently picked up some ravioli cutters – what an exciting addition! We celebrated Jeff’s pastapalooza by inviting our neighbors Lindsay and Daniel to our place for dinner. We provided the appetizer, pasta, white wine, and beer; they provided the red wine and tiramisu gelato from Mio Gelato (AWESOME, by the way). It was a perfect way to end the weekend: chilling and laughing with good food and good friends. Perfezionare!
Bobs skills must have rubbed off on you Jeff! Looks great, nice work.
Totally jealous! Looks so delicious. We have only gotten ours out twice, but it really is the best. Think I need some ravioli tools now! They looked beautiful and delicious!
